Well, we're back from Costa Rica and the fact that I'm officially Mrs. Perry is beginning to settle in :). I also finished up with school, so I'm currently unemployed and have some time to blog! Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the trip... more to come when I steal them from Doug's camera!
We first traveled to
Punta Islita, a beach-front resort on the Nicoya Peninsula. It was truly amazing!

The view from our room (hammock included :)

The beach :)

Of course, the hotel also had two infinity pools with swim-up bars. We definitely took advantage of this!

From Punta Islita, we traveled over to the Cloud Forest in Monteverde, where we stayed in a cute little cabin at
El Sapo Dorado.

As "Sapo Dorado" means "golden toad," there were lots of 'em all over the property. Doug made friends with one of them...

Doug somehow talked me into ziplining, which was an incredible experience! (See Doug's blog for zipline videos). On the way up in a tram - it started out sunny and beautiful.

Wheee!!!

On our vary last zipline, the sky opened up and it started to pour rain! There's nothing like ziplining through a rainforest in the pouring rain. It was crazy!

After Monteverde, we headed to the
Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort, which is located at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. This was the view from our patio - so cool!

We spent a day at the Tabacon hot springs, which are fed by the Arenal Volcano. It was amazing - pools and waterfalls everywhere that were the temperature of a hot tub!

Getting our float on...

After Tabacon, we spent one (rainy) night in San Jose before heading back home. Here's a few shots I took from the hotel.

And back to reality... Ranger was glad to have us home (I think that he really just missed begging for food while I cook dinner).
